Description
When winter drags on a crocus blooming in the lawn is sure to revive the spirit!
The corm of this lovely Pickwick crocus was planted in the fall for late winter/early spring bloom. About 30 species of crocuses are cultivated in gardens worldwide, but there are around 90 known species. I am pretty sure all of them are beautiful!
Taken in Orcutt, California with a Canon 5D Mark III. In-camera bokeh. White vignette added in Lightroom.
