Description
This lovely Echinacea purpurea's pink petals dissolve into mist! Commonly called the purple coneflower this beautiful perennial is native to North America. Native Americans used the plant for a variety of illnesses. Today it is widely used as an herbal cure to stimulate the immune system.
Blur was achieved with in-camera bokeh using a Canon 5D Mark III. Taken in natural late afternoon light in Santa Maria, California!
