Description
Even the underside of this purple pin cushion flower is incredibly detailed and colorful! Taken outside in natural light.
Droves of bees visit these scabiosa flowers scattering pollen on the petals. The tiny white flecks on the brilliant purple petals are simply the traces left by dozens of these pollinators.
