Description
A pottery leaf newly fired. The still hot leaf was placed on this pile of torn paper to cool after being removed from the kiln. During processing, I noticed the word "Fire" in one of the toasted newspaper shreds. I think it adds an additional twist to the image.

Thanks so much, Kym! Yes, the leaf is clay, but the thing that I like most about this is the word "Fire" on the charred newspaper.
